This is a good starting keyboard. I'm not a keyboardist, but I wanted something to mess around on, and it fits that purpose pretty well. Plays nice, granted it's not pressurized. There's tons of tones, although I felt some of them felt overly synthetic. USB connectivity, which is nice to have, but I haven't used. Phone output is nice. It runs either on battery or via power cord. However, the powercord doesn't come with it and there are actually two model power adapters. One is correct for this keyboard and the other won't work with it at all. So make sure you get it off Yamaha's site. Many places have one incorrectly listed as the other or vice-versa. This clearly isn't a "pro" keyboard, but should satisfy anyone who just wants to play some keyboard and have a fun experience.

Strengths:	A great value for those looking for a feature-filled keyboard for a beginner or casual keyboardist. There are quite a few standard features which make this a very versatile instrument.
Weaknesses:	Not a full-size keyboard. Volume control does leave something to be desired.

Some retail models include bonus AC adapter and microphone, which boosts and already solid value for the price.
